Plot
The film is based around the assassination of Black Panther activist Fred Hampton in 1969, one of the most tumultuous and pivotal periods in American history. Based in Chicago, the film revolves around the betrayal of Fred Hampton (Kaluuya), chairman of the Black Panther Party in the late 1960s, by William O’Neal (Stanfield), an FBI informant.

The film received immense love internationally after it bagged two nominations in the Golden Globes Awards. The film has been nominated under Best Supporting Actor and Best Song category. Though the film was initially slated for worldwide release in mid 2020, got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
