Movie Verdict
When it comes to story, realism, and execution, Chinni is a one-of-a-kind film. There was no need to release the movie in theatres because Chinni isn’t meant to be a cinematic experience. This film’s narration moves at a glacial pace, making it difficult for viewers to become emotionally invested in the story and its characters. Once you begin traveling with the main characters, you will undoubtedly enjoy this dark and gritty drama.
This is going to be the best film and performance of Keerthy Suresh’s career as Chinni. Performers face unique challenges when taking on D-glamourous roles, but this actress rose to the occasion with flying colours. Selvaraghvan’s portrayal of Sangayya was so convincing that the intensity in his eyes spoke for themselves. Close-up shots abound in this scene because the director is well aware of the actors’ abilities.
Chinni is a visually stunning film, and the cast and crew did an excellent job.
It’s important to note that while the film Chinni is an absolute must-see, its appeal is limited to a specific subset of moviegoers who enjoy intense films with a raw and gritty tone. Prime Video is now available on Amazon.com.
