Tollywood senior producer “Doraswamy Raju” who made many Blockbuster movies in Telugu passed away on 18th January, 2021. He died of cardiac arrest today morning in Care hospital, Banjara hills. He has been undergoing treatment at the Care Hospital in Banjara Hills for the last few days.
On Monday morning the situation worsened and he took his last breathe. Doraswamy, who founded a distribution company called VMC, has distributed many hit movies like Simhabaludu, Driver Ramudu, Vetagadu, Yugandhar, Gajadonga, Premabhishekam, Kondaveeti Simham, Justice Chaudhary and many others.
He produced many Blockbuster films like Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu, President Gari Pellam, Kirayi Dada, Annamayya, Simhadri and many other films. Also, He entered politics in 1990s and won as an MLA from Nagari constituency in 1994. He produced Annamayya with Nagarjuna and Simhadri with Jr NTR, these two films are trendsetters in that genre. All Telugu film personalities extended their deepest sympathies to his family members.
Jr NTR took his Twitter handle and wrote “The news that Doraswamy Raju is no more is very sad. His services to the Telugu film industry as a producer and distributor are unforgettable. His role was crucial in the success of Simhadri. Wishing peace to his soul, I extend my deepest sympathies to his family members”
