Police officer Aravind Karunakaran (Dulqar Salmaan) was assigned to look into an unsolved homicide in Kerala. Other officers brought in a new suspect and tried to close the case under political duress. After learning of the case, Aravind Karunakaran decided to restart the investigation with the evidence he had. It appeared that Aravind Karunakaran was having a good time with the case. Movie Verdict
In Salute, one of the most popular recent crime thrillers, the plot revolves around a real-life incident that anyone can identify with. In order to connect with the audience, the director takes his time establishing his protagonist’s world. However, it takes some time to get into the film’s main plot.
An over-the-top performance from Dulquer Salmaan saves this film from being boring. Roshan Andrews, the film’s director, did an excellent job of adhering to the film’s content and avoiding any commercial elements. The rest of the cast also delivered stellar performances.
In addition to Jakes Bejoy’s music, Aslam K Purayil, a talented cinematographer, managed to capture the film’s premise and visuals in an effortless manner.
