Jagame Thandhiram, an action thriller film, is helmed by Karthik Subbaraj and bankrolled by NOT Studios and Reliance Entertainment. Music for this film is given by Santhosh Narayanan. This film features Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo, Joju George.

This film was initially slated to release on 1 May 2020. However, it was postponed on account of the Covid-19 pandemic. Film producers have decided to air the film on the OTT platform Netflix. Netflix has purchased the digital rights of Jagame Thandhiram for Rs. 55 crores. This is the highest paid Tamil movie ever for direct digital release.
